It was off to a promising start... This year's UCT exhibition returned to Houston, TX after the last few years saw it in places such as Tampa, FL and San Antonio, TX. Upon first impression, the show looked like it was going to be the best in years. These changing economic times have certainly thrown the world on its ear, in some places more than others. Contracts have been delayed or shut down altogether, and in areas where the work does exist the ability for a contractor to obtain funds for the purchase of equipment to complete the work has diminished substantially. Through all of this, however, the needs and wants of the contractor remain unchanged.
